How come no other gen has had the speed, fluidity, and overall smoothness of gen 3? I played Emerald and Platinum pretty much back to back and I was just amazed at how slow and skippy Platinum seems--when you're running, the attack animations, the menus, everything is incredibly slow whereas it's crisp and slick in Emerald. Unfortunately it looks like gen 6 will be more like gen 4.
