He requires gauge, crits and spatk and the pairs that give it are all in the competition with other strikers.
If you have a 2/5+ Lance the stage clears will be very smooth indeed, now he's also got Sycamore to play with.
Freebie Rosa and her EX bonus also help, Rosa has been overshadowed by other team comps lately but I think she gets along very well with the Lance alts.
