In fact, this was the lab that that one trainer who wrecked Johto and Kanto got his first Pokemon.Too bad you never got to meet him, as you moved to Johto right after he left for his adventure. After his adventure, Johto went a little haywire, that led to a significantly higher percentage of the population being mentally unstable, and the distribution of Pokemon in the region going all over the place, with Pokemon that were never seen before beginning to pop up and flood the region.
"So, what are you doing all the way here? You say that you're a Breeder, but you look a little to young to be one." you inquire.
"Well, even though I'm guessing I'm probably as old as you, it's kind of a family thing. My parents are Breeders you see, and they sent me here to get my first Pokemon." she explains.
"Why here? Shouldn't you already have a bunch of Pokemon?"
"Well yeah, but the reason I'm all the way here in New Bark is because my parents are letting me go on an adventure. They want me to go through the average Pokemon Trainer journey to learn more about Pokemon and explore the world."
Before you can say that you're going on an adventure too, a voice calls for you from the other side of the lab.
"Alex. Over here!"
