Randomly tried playing X again. I've had so many encounters on Route 7 that I've reset through and through since the game crashed through them. I find a freakin' Absol for the first time ever. I figure it's bulky enough to not get OHKO'd by Dragon Rage. I'm correct and it's in the red but it smacks me with a Pursuit that would've OHKO'd if I switched. Starting to panic, I weigh my options between throwing a ball and praying that it doesn't go for Pursuit again. I just say fuck it and toss one of my two Ultra Balls - one shake, breaks out. Absol goes for Quick Attack and leaves Axew in the red. I'm forced to make the same decision again. Fuck it, we ball. I throw my last Ultra Ball - one shake, two shakes... three shakes... success! God, Pursuit is such a fucking killer.
Really tempted to use Absol since it was so hard to get even though I already have two future Dark types on this team. Decisions decisions...
