when you're making a game you need to accept that players will play it in ways you didn't intend. if the player wants to spend two hours grinding to beat a boss, that's their decision. but for other players, the time investment might not be worth it. the point is, if you put a wall that is formidable but surmountable, and let players figure out their own solution based on their team and playstyle, it'll make for a better experience in general.
