I finally got around to modding my 3DS, and aside from being able to play any of the pokemon generations I skipped because I didn't like any of the starters, I also have a save editor so I can replace/edit/add pokemon so I can just go ahead and replace the starters with just about whatever pokemon I want.
That's what I plan on doing, starting a game and the only change I make is swapping out the starter. But, aside from being able to pick any species with any IVs/Nature/Abilities within their Species/etc. I want, I also can make illegal pokemon by giving them moves they normally don't have access to, alongside giving them whatever item I want as well.
So, I throw the question I'm asking myself to you.
You can pick any pokemon to start a game with, under the following criteria.
1. It's level 5.
2. It starts with up to any 4 moves, including moves the species could never learn.
3. It's holding any possible item.
Who do you go for?
Right now, I'm considering a Pancham with Payday and an Amulet Coin.
