My trainer's relation to Pokemon is that he's very curious and passionate about them, often putting himself in harm's way to learn something new. However, he's a bit dense about the feelings of others; people and Pokemon alike. Many of the Pokemon he interacts with aren't fond of the attention and retaliate accordingly. He's a bit like a certain professor in that way, and will probably become one himself when he's older.

I do tend to like bug, ghost, and steel types the most though since they have a ton of cool designs. I originally liked Mawile back in the day because it was one of the only pure steel types and having that sort of power/sturdiness in a small package was appealing.
