>>46973252Though I agree with that statement, I highly doubt newer gens were made for a "its for everyone, not just kids" mentallity. A similar degredation happened with 4th gen MLP, where the show was initially created with the idea of it for being for everyone, not just little girls, but after the show took off, the suits thought they could make more money by targetting the little girl demographic, resulting in seasons after 4 being noticably worse in quality.
I bring this up to demonstrate that, though the franchise may have been made initially to appeal to everyone, the show most definitly now-a-days is targetted twords kids.
