Guys it's time to end the "Ice should get a Defense buff in Hail" meme. You only say this so it would precisely mirror Rock, which is dumb. And also misses the point. Ice Type is not SUPPOSED to be bulky and it will never, EVER be even just defensively "okay" no matter what you do. It is always going to be a garbage dogwater Type for taking hits, and if you want to help the Type you need to accept this and stop trying to provide bandaid """solutions""" that don't actually do anything. Thankfully there is a much BETTER solution that makes A SHITTON of sense and would be EXCEEDINGLY helpful. Have Hail reduce the speed of all non-Ice Types by 50%, 30% or even just by 20%. This is RIDICULOUSLY helpful to every single Ice Type that exists. This is the change that would skyrocket Ice Type into being actually useable and furthermore, it makes sense. Heavy winter conditions make any kind of walking, flying, driving or anything else really treacherous and slow. Imagine for a second you send out Aurorus who auto-sets Hail and then holy fucking shit, it actually has enough speed to set Aurora Veil up or like, literally do ANYTHING instead of immediately getting outsped and 1-shot. Hail should lower speed.
