Shared these in my other two galleries this weekend, so figured I'd post them here, as well. This is part two of my attempts at a decent cover for Chapter 6 of my story.
Cover 1, much like the first from the set I shared last week, is the worst of the bunch. The dress looked okay, although it was taking cures from Lillie's Masters EX Tea Time event outfit, with the patterns at the bottom. She sure as heck isn't holding the Tepig, but rather a Pokeball, which I mentioned she has none of in the story. The Tepig looks...okay, I guess? Not the best, though. The background was passable, if unremarkable.
Cover 2 was closer to the ballpark of what I was looking for. The dress looks fine, but this time the AI was taking cues from Lillie's standard white outfit, taking the patterns from there and adding them to her petticoat, which could have worked. What could NOT have worked was that...thing in her arms. How horrifying. Even better, it generated a second Tepig jumping up next to her. This, however, I did make use of, taking its head and Photoshopping it onto the Tepig in the cover I ended up going with. The background is probably the best of the three here.
Cover 3 was SOOOO close to what I envisioned. The dress was fantastic, with only the bow and apron pockets needing tweaking. But once again, we have TWO Tepig included, the one in her arms looking more like a disembodied head instead of a complete Pokemon. You can imagine me groaning that I'd have to keep going with this...
...and I did, for ANOTHER round of attempts, which you'll see another time.
Of these, which one would YOU have gone with if you stopped at this point?
