It just doesn't exist anymore, not even in the professional, real world art industry. This is doubly true when it comes to anything involving non human characters, triply true when it comes to pokemon. I stopped posting my art online in any meaningful way years ago because of this, so have a lot of other artists that don't want to engage in the "lifestyle".
