The few who still played pokemon in secret didn't care about the dex cut, they where just happy to have a new pokemon game to play.Yep this lmao but a lot of people that did play Pokemon that I talked to did understand why it was a thing back in the day too. Sure, people found out that it's POSSIBLE now, but the early 2000s was a vastly different time and we learn about technology more and more as time passes. I still don't know a single liscensed GBA game that can communicate with GB(C) natively.
