Just wondering what utility Pokemon are a must for SM/USUM. Currently I have two Smeargles. Both are 6IV Technician. One has False Swipe, Payday, Recover and Recycle with a Leppa Berry. I use him for EV training, shiny hunting and getting cash. The second has False Swipe, Spore, Covet and Simple Beam. I use him for grabbing items, catching mons and identifying hidden abilities. It's there a third really necessary utility pokemon that I'm missing? The only time I really had to switch it up was for my hidden ability abra where I used an arena trap Trapinch with sandstorm to identify the magic guard. I haven't hunted any shiny grass types yet, but the plan would be to replace Spore with t-wave. The lack of HMs and hoarde encounters in Gen VII has me feeling like there's less of a need for utility mons than there ever has been.
