Game Freak would be smart to make a Chinese Pokemon region. The games do get a release in China, think of the revenue. It would be quite the risk because if they fuck up a single time in representing China the way China wants to be represented then they're done, China will permanently shut the doors on them forever. It's a high risk / high reward situation. All Game Freak have to do is romanticise China to the absolute fullest, which would make for a pretty good region, I think. It's better than doing the opposite and representing the country in a fairly realistic manner, like with Galar, which turned out even more miserable than the real UK.
