* A bunch of cities use tall grass as decoration.
* The most incomplete cities are Saffron, Fuschia and Cinnibar, so it's plausible to think these are the parts in which the original concept and the final game differ the most
* Only instance of the Game Freak logo billboard appears in Vermillion
* Speaking of Vermillion, it doesn't have the weird Machop stomping terrain, but it does have what seems to be a vacant, empty lot with lots of weeds.
* No Viridian Forest. V1 Route 2 reminds me of G/S Route 2.
* Lots of placeholder route maps are exact copies of one another with a number written in tall grass tiles. Any corner or vertically long route seems to be an unique placeholder, though.
* In routes 20 and 21, the islands aren't really finished, as they lack the "shore" tile that the block meant to "raise" the ground from the water isn't in place. Cities and other routes featuring bodies of water do use these blocks, so it might be a matter of thee maps being older than the rest.
* There are a bunch of blocks meant for smooth rocky walls that only get used in Pewter City. There aren't any similar tiles in the final game, so it makes you wonder how would the caves and mountain maps would've looked with this tileset.
Anyway, I also made .blk files and the corresponding blockset for these maps, in case anyone wants those. Haven't touched the collision data yet.
