However, the Togepi special was shorty after and nothing about it was touched on, same can be said when she returned in Battle Frontier (where she hung with Max the entire time) and the SM cameos. It wouldn't have taken a lot of effort for the Alola girls to tease Misty given her cameos in that series and Lana was even teased about it a few times for....reasons?
