Even X&Y, being the absolute shit game it was, looked at least somewhat interesting pre release. There's nothing good this time around. Lousy gimmicks, more pandering, shit graphics, absolutely terrible designs across the board along with the dex cut, region is a fucking straight line.

The games clearly need a new studio or at least more development time. I don't know why people still champion game freak at all.

When I was in my last year of junior high I was bullied like mad, and eventually made friends with two other kids.
One of those kids was even lower on the social totem pole than I was, about thirty pounds heavier and with so much acne you could barely see his face, deplorable stench, etcetera. The other kid was pretty normal. They had been friends since childhood.
Over the course of that year I systematically drove a wedge between the two until the more normal one didn't mind it if I openly mocked the other one right in front of his face, and the overweight one was too much of a milquetoast to defend himself.
His grades were apparently suffering pretty bad after a point. Eventually the gulf between him and me and his former best friend was so insurmountable that he finally drifted away and avoided us entirely.
After Junior High I never even spoke with either of them again, so I basically obliterated a childhood friendship for no other reason than that I wanted to feel powerful.
