>>54160584>GuildsThe town is run by guilds of various kind; Merchants, Farmers, Adventurers, Cooks, Fighters, Builders, Knowledge-seekers and such. You join the Adventurers, and can eventually become guildmaster, where you unlock the ability to develop your guild, recruit pokemon, deal with the other guilds and so forth.
>HousingUsual features like decorating, expanding rooms, paying Tom nook i mean the guild etc
>FarmingYou can find/buy seeds and plant berries in your own home-plot or en-masse with the Farming guild. Usual farming stuff.
>CookingEither in your home, or in the local tavern, you can practice and unlock recipes. Then you can cook by playing simple minigames and obtain a dish that gives great boons for adventuring purposes when eaten.
>Villagers and RelationshipsWhere PMD really shines, but you can also romance your partner pokemon or other villagers, depending on how close you got to them by doing their unique quests and events.
>Calendar with holydays and eventsAll the game would be developed based on rotating calendars; so each saturday a traveling merchant could come, but only in a specific month a specific dungeon could open, or a certain berry grow.
Story events happen based on days passed since starting the adventure instead.
>Town attractionsDojo, Quest board, Tavern, Shops, Villager houses, Guild quarters etc.
>Town developmentClearing dungeons can also clear land to expand the town; what you build is up to you. Eventually you can get everything, but the idea is that DLC/Parches can easily add in content by just building the new villager home/new feature this way.
>ModularAs in, the wet dream would be to have a solid gameplay loop, and the development feature could easily add on top of it every kind of Mod/Custom content, be it new OCs, new gameplay stuff or anything else.
