3) It sucks. But water dragon would be way too strong of a type combination. I mean we have Kingdra but his well rounded stats work against him to keep him in check.

Youtube is a good place to start choose a tier and watch some battles. Helps familiarize the meta game a little. Then you can try creating a balance team on pokemon showdown.

>3 support
-Special Wall
-Physical Wall
-Mixed/ Utility

>3 offense
-Physical attacker
-Special attacker
-Set up sweeper

Make sure attacking isn't concentrated physically or specially. Even from walls attacking can be important.

Also use a fire, water, grass core to help build your team. Make sure your team has no more than 2 pokemon weak to the same type and if there are 2 pokemon weak to the same type to have good counters to them.

There should be one fast sweeper that utilizes a choice scarf.

This isn't the holy bible to competitive battling but I'm sure some of these tips will get you well on your way to competitive battling

Lets say he gets X-scissor, quick attack, bravebird 2.0 and earthquake.

10/18 super effect and has a priority move.

Plus there's nothing that really walls him except Skarmory.

If you wanna add a fighting type move that's 12/18. But lets just keep the priority.

He's a boss and the math says it.
