Having adapted to live in polluted, rubbish choked waters, these pokemon hide their soft bodies within garbage. Large numbers of them can be found in urban lakes and rivers. They have been known to twitch and shudder uncontrollably on occasion.

Fiercely territorial, Sodacken attack any creature which enters their territory, constricting the enemy with corrosive tentacles. These pokemon secrete an acidic froth from their skin when angered.
