Finding all the new Pokémon, evolutions, and forms and experiencing it for yourself is literally a part of the adventure. Testing the different evolution methods and discovering shit for yourself is one of the biggest takeaways for these games.
To each their own. Having the Pokémon spoiled to you just so you can team build accordingly instead of going in and meeting new Pokémon that unexpectedly catch your interest just sounds stupid.
