>>41183430Shin Megami Tensei is like Persona but better. In terms of fighting mechanics, Story, and aesthetic it's far superior, but it lacks the brand recognition Persona has. I don't know anyone whose been affected by Shin Megami Tensei the way they were by Persona myself included. I like it now, but I don't have any childhood memories of pretending to be a Mikado Samurai (Not like I would since it's a newer game, but you get the point).
P5 sucks ass and P3 is the only good persona game. They are also not even remotely comparable to Pokemon in terms of their appeal.
