>>43132834We've had this discussion about Discord at least three times now, and it just sounds worse every time it's mentioned. People keep finding examples of them turning into absolute dumpster fires, and I can't fathom why people want to do that to this thread.
>>43132620I'm with you, for a similar reason. I was involved with an LJRP back in the day that had an AIM chat group. It was fine at first, because it was a lot of fun, but eventualy it turned into a circlejerk with heaps of splinter groups people set up just to bitch about others. The sheer volume of drama was immense, and it was totally exhausting. I can't face the idea of going through that kind of shit again, with something I enjoyed turning into a shitfest. I honestly just think it's a horrible idea in general. If a Discord is made, I'm staying put here, even if it's to my own detriment.>>43132717Don't even worry about it- take your time! I'm honestly around almost all the time, and the last thread went totally off the rails anyway, so it's probably for the best. I'm absolutely up for being a sounding board for ideas for you if you want me to be.
"Himbo" is the perfect word to describe Leon- pretty face, no thoughts. Your read on Leon sounds pretty much exactly the conclusion I came to as well. He's a powerful trainer in battle, and this is the one time he's deadly serious and laser focused, but outside of that he's a total goofball. He became Champion at a young age and it allowed him to retain an air of childishness that has become his good-natured, friendly image.
That sounds like a perfect fit for Leon, though- a powerful wizard who is fully aware of his own magical prowess, yet he's such an easy-going puppy-dog of a man that you don't see it and perhaps underestimate him until it's too late to start taking him seriously. I think the same species would work well for Hop as well, to be honest! I like it.Morning everyone!
