>>38975299Also, in the mean time, there's other stuff going on to cater to those who might have to wait on their mons going into the next game.
Mobiles games like Go, Duel, or the upcoming Masters and Sleep will have a variety of Pokemon to play with, the old games that you can always replay through and experience, the anime that features just about every Pokemon you could want that isn't Porygon, Merchandise that are expanding to include pokemon that aren't just Gen 1 and legendaries.
>>38975325A game having all the pokemon is objectively better but solely if it's designed with that in mind. You can theoretically get every pokemon in USUM, but people here still complained about them right? To that end, a game not having all the pokemon is not objectively bad. Otherwise, you're saying that old games that don't feature a mon from a newer one is flawed, and if someone were to say that it'd be foolish. Plenty of spin-offs don't have every mon available, but are still well designed and make do.
The people clamoring for unique animations don't seem to realize that if they hand pick Pokemon, they can work on perfecting the animations and look for them. You can post the double kick webms all you want, but the moves used when Dynamax'd and the trainer models look clean and exciting, and they're still working on it. Now imagine this for the next game, when they have more time to work on an engine that already exists. Slapping every mon in for the sake of completion won't suddenly give them great animation, or make Gamefreak masters of 3D modeling.
Can't transfer to Home yet? Don't get it. If you paid for Home already, just don't transfer to them like an idiot when you can check if they're in Galar, since it doesn't come out until after SWSH.
Just as no one's forcing you to buy SWSH and support the direction they're choosing, no one's forcing you to buy Home until you decide if need it, just like you don't need Bank until you do.
