I'm considering changing out my buddy Pokémon to something else after Halloween ends. I'm more than strong enough to solo Mega Glalie with one team + healing (I hope) and the Mega Aero and Mega Altaria snowy solos are way too inconsistent without another 3 million stardust and 1k Beldum candy XL, and I might as well just wait for more Beldum events do get that remaining candy XL instead of pushing my lvl. 50 Metagross any further. Overall, I'd rather just walk something that won't need a minimum of 2.5km per candy.
Assuming the Hoenn starters get released at some point before/during the Hoenn Tour, I've been considering either maxing out my lvl. 43 or so non-shadow best buddy Tangrowth or maxing out one of my Shadow Tangrowth since it will make Mega Swampert more consistent for a single team + healing and because it will take a good year or so before I've have access to enough rare candy to get 6-10 Kartanas to lvl. 40.
Thoughts?
