He's not so "legendary" as much as he eats oranges and lays around the mansion. Outside of that, the only legendaries I've had the luxury of seeing are potentially Uxie near where I live, Raikou in my trip to the Johto region, and I personally think I hallucinated but in my trip to Kalos, I thought I spotted Latios.
