I'm rough on the details but what I've been thinking so far is
>Trainer tries to catch a Gardevoir way out of their league>They lose>The Gardevoir forces them to stay in the woods as a servantFrom there I'm not sure where I'd take it but the story would revolve heavily around the dynamic between a not quite timid, but definitely in over their head trainer and "their" jaded, stern gardevoir that forces compliance out of them with her powers (utilizing a mix of violence and hallucinations, since flat out mind control would be an incredibly boring read imo.)
Still a lot about it I haven't ironed out yet.
