Denialfags allege it's pokefinder/battle move/spinoff shit but those are all pretty doubtful especially given the sheer amount of work put into rigging a lot of shit that won't see any use in those features or animations that don't make sense in that context, so it definitely seems to point to the possibility of followers making a comeback in future Gen 7/8 games, pretty exciting.
I can't wait for the 3D overworld to start living up to its potential.
