1. I was there when Toxel leaked and I absolutely hated it. The immediate coolness of its evo caught me off guard and left and immediate impression.
2. It’s design cleverly implements of it’s inspirations. The sacks on its chest produce poison and sound, which references both the strings on a guitar and the poisonous glands salamanders have (some amphibians secrete poison when touched). The head shapes and neck length of its forms also reference electric vs acoustic guitars.
Tldr: it had a strong first impression and is a clever combination of animal, profession, and object mons.
