>>28710088Ok I'm coming in late and I'm just gonna type down my ideas without reading anyone else's posts. Here I go
>ContextKanto & Johto is available after finishing the main game, which takes place in a reigon based on Seattle, Tacoma, and the whole area around Puget Sound.
>Cinnabar IslandBeing 20 years later, the island has begun to rebuild, and is much larger than it used to be. A volcanic cave can be explored. Mega Moltres threatens to erupt the volcano. Big event to catch it. When you do so, (respawns, so the capture is a But Thou Must) a small reference to the gen 1 anime from Blaine has him say that he should give you the badge based on that feat alone, but that'd be against the rules.
>Cerulean CaveMewtwo has returned here... Alongside it's trainer, Red, and the bottom of an even deeper than ever Cerulean Cave. Defeating Red's team, which includes Mewtwo, leads to Mewtwo wishing to trade places with another of your party members "For a limited time." (Story context is Mewtwo wishes to train with as many trainers as possible and does so by Leaving Red once in a while and allowing itself to be caught by other trainers, see HGSS and XY, but this time it's a full on trade. In story Mewtwo will eventually leave you, but in reality will do no such thing.)
>Mt. SilverGold challenges you to a battle. Has the 3 Johto Starters (The one strong against your starter is a Mega), Lugia, Ho-oh, and Tyranitar. Depending on your version, Gold will then release one of the birds and they will fly off to their home to battle you.
>GymsAll the Gym leaders are the same but have Pokemon from all over the generations.
>Power PlantZapdos has just returned before you get there and is in a new Mega form, holding the Zapdosite, and is really hard to catch.
>Safari ZoneThe Kanto Safari Zone has been renovated and between the two versions, has all the Alola variants of pokemon from S/M
The Johto Safari Zone is just rare Kanto/Johto/Hoenn pokemon
