It's like they went through a checklist against SM and just used it for SwSh, but without learning why it worked the first time around. Same "punk-aesthetic-decoy-team", same "benevolent organisation that's actually shady", same "bizarre otherworldly alien threat", same "ancient relics can be used to summon legendaries to save the day at the last minute". I just don't understand their rationale, because they nailed it the first time they tried it with vanilla SM, and they keep making it worse every time they try to redo it.
