>>51234071>but that game seems to be what you want. every solution I tell you isn't good enough unless it's perfect in every situation. It’s not that I want a perfect solution for every situation, it’s that I don’t want to feel like I have to use the same solution for every situation.
>but it's not like the game is unplayable without spamming wands. >if you're running out of useful items, then use them less liberally. If I don’t use Wands, then the enemy Pokemon burn through my Oran Berries and Reviver Seeds, and then it’s Game Over. I doubt that anyone has actually managed to do a Wandless run of Super.
>if you defeat Onix in one hit, it wouldn't use Sandstorm, and there would be less resource management. you're ignoring the point. Maybe I couldn’t approach it in time. Maybe I was out of PP of Water Pulse. Maybe I ran out of Seeds and Wonder Orbs.
Just because you’re killing enemy Pokemon in 1 Move doesn’t mean that every encounter goes perfectly for you.
>why does your strong attacking move have to be the best option? Maybe because it deals more than quadruple damage? I don’t expect my STABs to always be the best option, but in this scenario I think it’s justified.
>not all of the enemies are that strong. I was actually researching gameplay of Super on YouTube when I stumbled across… this. Seriously, what the FUCK is this? No wonder I can’t KO anything with SE Moves, all of my Moves miss, and I get OHKOed; because some of the enemy Pokemon are MORE THAN DOUBLE my current level.
