If that's the case then the events between Ash and Serena at the summer camp in Pallet Town are still canon in the ICYverse. Serena, as far as we know, is the only main Pokegirl Ash has come in contact with in the ICYverse. Misty never met Ash which meant that she never battle Ash at Cerulean. Odds are Ash was one of the Trainers who fought Daisy or one of the other sisters since there was no delays while his journey began unlike the OS where he was delayed again and again.
