Waterfall has always been a great physical move for water types, since it has a flinch chance.
Surf is just great in general. So is Fly, for that matter.
Defog could be REALLY great if it got rid of all field effects, period.
Rock Climb would be better if it had a higher confusion chance, and was a type other than Normal.
I will admit that Flash, Strength, and Cut could be gotten rid of, though.
Really, if they wanted to be cool about things, they should give moves that have battle effects similar to HMs the same map power as HMs.
Imagine how cool it would be if Slash, Shadow Claw, or Fury Swipes could be used instead of Cut.
