I thought I was going to love Gen V. I WANTED to love Gen V. N was, and is, one of the coolest characters the games have had thus far.
But Gen V just...fell flat for me. It didn't capture my interest; I got bored about midway through and stopped just because it felt, overall, uncompelling. Most of the mons they introduced were passable at best, the overall feel was meh...I dunno mang. I'm not saying Gen V was objectively bad; I can see why people like it. But trying to play Gen V almost convinced me I had finally outgrown Pokemon.
