This made me think of an "original" Porygon form, sorta like a Hisui form. The story is the original Porygon went extinct due to overhunting - like a dodo bird. Years later, Silph Co would use the extinct pokemon as a basis for their designs of their artificial pokemon.
It wouldn't be a fossil pokemon, because they only went extinct a few hundred years ago.
And it'd have it's own unique evolution: Porygone (pronounced like "gone")
