I could see tha argument that hooking them up to machines is bad but nothing implies the Revaroom and Varoom are incovenienced outside of you kicking the Starmobile's ass like a normal Pokemon. Hell, since it was just going to run off of Charcadet that were perfectly fine helping out there's even fewer comparisons to abuse there.
