Recently a group of zoologists based in numerous south American countries made a groundbreaking discovery regarding the way numerous species of birds raise their young. According to many of the scientists it seems that after laying the eggs, regardless of what bird species, the mother seems to frequently leave and never return, which is a very uncommon trait for birds and for some reason seems to be exhibited more prominently among those native to the continent.
