Lets talk about each generation.
Its pros and cons.
I'll start.
Gen 1:
First pokemon game.
Had a lot of good pokemon designs.
Good gym leaders.
Great music.
Had very little story.
Jynx.
Kind of short.
Gen 2:
Great music.
Had some good pokemon- skarmory, starters, weavile.Etc
Cool rival.
Could go back to Kanto.
Some bad pokemon.
The after story was crap.
The fight with Red was impossible unless you felt like level grinding.
Gen 3:(oh boy)
Music was my favorite of all time.
Some really cool pokemon.
Introduced Steven.
Cool gym leaders.
A good legendary fight.
Trumpets.(we saw this coming)
Short.
No trading from other games.
No night day.
Retard villains.
Gen 4:
team galactic was pretty cool.
I like the thing where they balanced out the starter types.
A pretty nice story line.
Almost no new pokemon.
Forgettable soundtrack in some parts.( Spear pillar was great, and dialga and palkia battle music was great.)
Clunky.
Annoying ass rival.
Gen 5(black and white)
Great pokemon designs.
Great story.
I like the villain.
I like the 2 rivals thing.
Great soundtrack.
Great looks.
Cool legendary battles.
Gym leaders were awesome. Like when they all come together to stop the sages.
There was a great sequel.
The end music. Oh god.
(I have way too much good to say about this game)
Entralink music. Oh god.(again)
Entralink was just fun.
Not a lot to do after game.
After game required grinding. Cheren was 2edgy4me.
As well as N. But he can get away with it.
Black 2
So many pokemans
good story as well
likable rival
the scene in the cave with Ghetsis was amazing.
Fixed after story.
Great soundtrack.
Underwater path.
For gods sake an achievement system.
End music. Them feels.
