It can even breed for baton pass to rape the Battle Tower with Marowak. On top of all of this, it can evolve into Scizor for increased attack and bulk to guarantee a pass against anything without a fire move.
>RubyZangoose is broken as fuck with early swords dance and gets perfect coverage against everything except Skarmory and Metagross. Go catch a Ninetales and set up sun on his Skarmory.
>RSETMs 11 and 22, sunny day and solarbeam. Teach these to any grass type and you will never struggle with with last third of the game ever again. The ocean route trainers, Tate&Liza, Juan, Glacia's sea mammals, and half of Wallace's team are all weak to grass. Sunny day allows you to not only turn off the rain and hail, but also lets you utilize a move that is not normally viable in-game, TM10 hidden power fire. If you're playing RS, then Steven's lead Skarmory lets you set up sun for free for your fire types to put his Metagross in a bodybag.

>White 2Rattata. Yes, Rattata. This little shit is a monster. Early game he's got the usual early evo and high base power hyper fang, but now he's got early sucker punch and crunch to murder any ghosts you run into. Mid game you can use a heart scale to get swords dance and he learns hyper fang to cut rocks and steels down to size. However, his potential isn't fully realized until late game where he gets to abuse guts + flame orb and STAB facade.
