>>54509801>The models are better than the sprites in his exampleI think YOU need the sleep, anon. It's one thing to say that you prefer the models for some reason, but part of what that picture displays is that there is barely any difference between the 3D models because of the copy/paste issue that the 3D games have.
>How is this any different?Sprites not moving in realistic ways is less jarring than models not moving in realistic ways because sprites are less realistic than models and you don't expect fluid animation from them the same way you expect fluid animationfrom models. When a static sprite jiggles up and down to represent an attack, it doesn't look NEARLY as lazy and low effort as when a fully animated 3D model does the same thing. There is beautiful pixel animation out there the same way there's beautiful 3D modeling, but the floor of sprite quality is considerably higher than the floor of model quality.
>Cool! Explain how this is bad.I don't think I have to explain why washed out colors and boring poses is bad because those are inherently negative terms. I prefer pokemon to be colorful and exciting. Here's some examples that some guy did to demonstrate the color issue.
