For one, it's unique right from the start, in that it's literally the first of its kind in its ship; it's the only thing that pops up on AO3 under that tag, so it's got originality in its favor. The character dynamics have only been lightly addressed in, like, 4 episodes of the anime, meaning there's probably enough for him to work off of, but not so much that he's locked into a formula. From there, Dawn is (imo) remarkably in character and her lines are lines I could hear coming out of her VA's mouth. I don't have a clue where the story's really going, but I've enjoyed the setup thus far. I really don't like Goh as a character in general, in terms of the anime, but he's very tolerable in the fic and the comedy relief involving him, I have to admit, has made me snort a few times.
Also, early on, the author promised that Serena and Amourfags get btfo, so I'm waiting with great interest as to how that eventually factors in.>>51825287No need to worry!
