i'd consider going with ground but idk if sandshrew is obtainable earlygame this version (I didn't find one last time I played this)
might as well try monosteel which is a good type anyways and I'll still get to potentially use snowshrew if it appears in the gacha
fuck I don't even know the last time I even got to use sandslash in a fangame despite the line being my calling card
but it was probably some forgettable crap I dropped for being boring
