>>49222975if BW came out on the 3DS it would have been shat upon even harder. the first 3D pokemon games were always going to be something in the lane of XY, largely focusing on older content while neglecting the newly introduced. when pokemon was making the switch to 3D, a lot of fans weren't hyped for a new game that happened to be 3D, they were hyped for the games that they grew up with in 3D and Gamefreak knew this. If the first 3D pokemon game had a new roster and restricted older mons to the postgame, people would have gone ballistic.
