I like how Anons in past threads suggested that Horizons Part 1 focused on the past while Horizons Part 2 will focus on the future. I get that sentiment from the opening where we see Liko frantically running back to the past while Roy is confidentally walking towards the future. And maybe Zygarde vs Fug will represent past vs future with Fug being controlled by Spinel while Zygarde's awakening will be the start of a new era of heroes. For that, I could see Roy forgoing Fug for Zygarde.
