I wiped to Lance last time I played Heart Gold, and I've never actually played Gold/Silver but crystal was my very first pokemon game I played on my old Ipone in like 2012 and it's now one of the games I've played the most. Last Crystal run I believe I beat Red with an underlevelled team because the grind was just too real lol. Good luck with Silver and if all goes relatively smoothly in Platinum and I at least make it past FatTina I'll likely put gen2 in the Roll next round with the remakes as I'll be VERY itchy to get back to Johto in another week or so (again assuming the run goes well / okay)

>>46113304I think Double team is a fair move, and I often laugh when the enemy uses it as confirmation bias always makes me remember how futile it can be. Times like these make me remember how devastating it can be as well. Ultimately though it was my fault for going into a Jim with a Kingdra ace without an Ice Type attack. I forgot he had a Kingdra for some stupid reason don't know why...
