Pokemon Hanafi and Pokemon Shafi will bring the world of Pokemon to North Africa and the Middle East. Previous Pokemon games have based their in-game regions and maps on real world places such as New York City and Tokyo. In the new versions of Pokemon, the playable region will be based on the city of Amman, Jordan.
