>>42410306Awesome dude! Out of curiosity was this a nuzlocke or a normal run?
Also, another story since I decided to pop onto ranked for a bit and came across a battle that took quite a while:
>Other guy's team is extremely speedy and filled with fast pokemon, with the only exception being his Reuniclus>Bring Sandaconda, Grimmsnarl and my Indeedee in the back to sweep>Other guy leads Cinderace and gets immediately paralyzed >He swaps out to Reuniclus while I set up rocks>Earthquake Reuniclus while it sets up calm mind>It does a decent amount, about a third, figure it might be ok>EQ it again, Reuniclus uses recover>tfw I've been so used to fighting meme sets and preparing for anything that I completely neglected to even think that the guy would just be running the standard Reuniclus>Send out Grimmsnarl>What follows is what feels like 10 or 15 minutes of Snarl spamming Spirit Break while he's just keeps spamming Recover and CM>I notice he has a pattern and that he'll only ever Recover after taking a hit first, because if he's at full health he'll CM>I allow him to heal up to full health and then next turn, Dynamax and use Max Starfall>For whatever fucking reason that I'll never know why, he suddenly breaks his pattern and just immediately recovers despite having no reason to think I'd dynamax and having no reason to use it anyway since he was literally at full fucking health>He just proceeds to stall out the Dynamax with recover as a result>Switch back to Sandaconda and spam Earthquake even more>Eventually he must have run out of PP for Recover and Calm Mind, because he Dynamaxes and KO's Sandaconda>Send out Snarl and set up Screens>Because he's been unable to get up any CM boosts at all and Focus Blast downgrades in damage when he dynamaxed his giant fist does a pathetic amount of damage>Spirit Break again for good measure just to lower it further, then set up Reflect and switch out to Indeedee as he's using Focus Misscont.
