A random stranger who might give you a weird look? The reality is, the demographic for Pokemon player is no longer just the 10 year old. This is now something that people have grown up on, and it's not surprising at all to find people in their 20s or older still playing it.
This isn't going to a dance club and bringing up the fact that you play Pokemon. That might actually cause some issues. This is going into a video game store, hosting an event for a video game! The people there, and bear with me for a second because this might come as a shock to you, are people who play video games. Some of them might actually enjoy playing Pokemon too!
Stop being so apprehensive. There are times when it's appropriate to hide your hobbies. This isn't one of them.
