if they cared about balance they wouldn't make the EXP share so stupidly fucking broken that if you leave it on you'll be way fucking over leveled enough that you'll steamroll through the game no matter what shitmons you have in your party.
if they cared about balance they wouldn't let you have a party of less than 3 pokemon the entire game so you could steamroll the game with 1 or 2 pokemon without the EXP share on
